Terms of Service
Last updated: March 11, 2026. Please read these terms carefully before starting your project with us.
1. Project Initiation & Deposits
All projects require a 50% non-refundable upfront deposit before any research, planning, or development commences. This deposit secures your slot in our production schedule and covers initial resource allocation.
2. Payment Terms & No-Refund Policy
Payments are strictly non-refundable once the project has officially started. In the event of project cancellation by the client, the initial 50% deposit will be retained by DevnDesk to cover labor and administrative costs incurred up to that point.
3. Client Responsibilities & Content Delivery
To maintain project timelines, the client must provide all necessary assets (logos, text, images, brand guidelines) within 7 business days of project kickoff. Delays exceeding 14 days may result in the project being moved to the end of our production queue and may incur a 10% Re-initiation Fee.
4. Scope of Work & Change Orders
Any request falling outside the initial agreed-upon project brief will be treated as a 'Change Order.' We will provide a formal quote for such changes, and additional charges will apply before the extra work begins.
5. Revision Policy
Each project includes exactly 2 rounds of major revisions. Any additional revisions or significant design changes requested after the approval of initial mockups will be billed at an hourly rate or a fixed fee per change.
6. Intellectual Property & Ownership
Full intellectual property rights and ownership of the finalized assets will be transferred to the client only upon receipt of the final 50% payment. Until then, all code, designs, and 3D assets remain the exclusive property of DevnDesk.
7. 3D Performance & Browser Compatibility
As DevnDesk utilizes advanced technologies like Three.js and high-end animations, optimal performance is guaranteed on modern browsers (Chrome, Safari, Edge). DevnDesk is not responsible for performance issues on outdated hardware, legacy browsers, or slow internet connections.
8. Third-Party Costs
The client is solely responsible for all third-party expenses, including but not limited to: Domain registration, Web hosting, Premium plugin licenses, and API fees (e.g., Google Maps, OpenAI). These are not included in our development fee.
9. Post-Launch Support
We provide 30 days of complimentary technical support following the project launch to fix any bugs or deployment errors. This does not cover new feature requests, content updates, or issues caused by the client’s internal changes to the code.
10. Showcase & Marketing Rights
DevnDesk retains the perpetual right to showcase the completed work, including screenshots, videos, and case studies, in our portfolio, social media, and marketing materials, unless a formal Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) is signed beforehand.
By initiating a project with DevnDesk, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.
